Summer!!!

Summer is finally here! I've decided Titus is an awesome age for the summer. He's starting to sit but cant actually get around... yet. When we were down in Cali in June I'd sit Titus only to crash into the sand and come up with a face full of sand. It was awful and funny all at the same time. Now that it's July he's a little more stable. We have high hopes for our summer but we'll see how it plays out. We want to try Silverwood (a local water/amusement park) and camping. Lorraine, Benjamin, Isaac, Titus and I already did a road trip down to Cali and picked up Lorraine's dad, Ben on the way down. It was okay except Titus isn't the biggest fan of the car. Then once we were down in San Marcos area he came down with a cold and would projectile vomit before bed or in the middle of the night. It kind of jacked his amazing sleep during the night going from waking up once a night to about 4 times a night. We got to see good friends and family on the way down and staying in California. My mom surprised me down there. It was awesome to finally spend my birthday with her. I hadn't had a birthday with her in about 7 years. I've told her about every year I'm over 20 years old and I hate my birthdays without you. Guess she was tired of me crying about it. ;) Grandma Lorna had such a good time with Titus. She is an awesome great grandma! Overall the trip was a success for Lorraine and I with 3 little boys. Justin, Titus and I flew down the Utah to surprise my dad for Father's day. The waters have been tested out for many more flights around the U.S. It was great seeing my dad, Lisa, sister, brothers and everyone else. Lisa told my dad the house was flooding and he came rushing home from work only to find Justin, Titus and I in the laundry room. He told us we sucked but it was more since he had to go back to work and pack up for the day. We had a great time with him and everyone else. We hope to see them sometime this summer. Yesterday was the 4th of July. We had a nice little picnic with Justin's family, Lorraine and her grandma. We hung out for hours at Discovery park. Probably one of the coolest parks around or that I've ever been to. I've loved this park since they opened it. Walking around I remembered when I'd take the kids I use to nanny there and now I get to be there with my son and nephews. Later that night Lorraine and her boys came over for dinner. She brought fireworks and once they were all gone we had Justin run to state line for a few more. He seriously is the best. It was a great day! Overall our summer and our lives are blessed everyday by our baby boy! Crazy how much our lives have changed and I cant picture Titus not in my life. He's completely changed Justin and I. I never knew I'd love someone so little so much. We strive to give him the best. Justin is the best Daddy. We are seriously so blessed to have him around. I cant imagine raising Titus without him. He rolls around with Titus on the floor and takes such good care of him. I'm so lucky to say that I'm a Mommy! Titus is really a good/happy baby. Everyday I try to be the best mommy I can for him. I never just want to be a "good enough" mom. I've had moments where I haven't been the best but I keep trying. We aren't perfect but I want the best for him and that means I need to give him my best.
